Hello everyone, this is Wave Blaster for you and this is my first review in a very long time. Hope you like it.
It’s official: DC got good!
This movie was leagues better than anything they’ve cobbled together since the Dark Knight movies! Great action, great emotion, great storytelling, great visuals, great characters, great comedy, great drama, and a wonderful portrayal of Diana. I am head-over-heels in love with Gal Gadot!
Dr. Drake, we’re losing him! The DCCU is flatlining!
“Dammit! Hand me those paddles. We’re gonna shock it with a movie about a badass female protagonist who gets her world view shattered by the evils of men, anvlicious morals about feminism, morality, and war, and a bunch of vaguely-defined superpowers and magic items.”
That sounds like a terrible idea!
“Trust me! CLEAR!” *fwoomp*
Doctor, it’s a miracle! It’s working! The ideas are gelling! Will this save the DCCU?
[SPOILERS TO FOLLOW]
So I just got done watching Wonder Woman 1984. Actually it was more a Christmas present for my mother. She's a bit of a Wonder Woman fan, so taking her out to see it was the family's gift to her.
And it looks damn cool.
So, as usual, I'm not going to really give much away. Actually, I'll give away as little as possible, because my recommendation with Wonder Woman is that you should definitely go see it if you're a fan of comic-book films.
Seriously. Wonder Woman is a good DC movie. And good movie in general. Really good.
How good? This film is up to Marvel standards. That good.
Well I knew it, I knew it was going to be Doomsday who would be in the movie but people didn't believe me. Can't wait to see their faces when they see I was right.
A happy confluence of events brought me to catch Professor Marston and the Wonder Women tonight. It’s a biopic concerning the creator of Wonder Woman and the women he loved. If a period piece kinky romance about an MFF triad, psychological theory, and life influencing art sounds like something you’d be into, check it out![1] Granted, I’m biased.
Welp, Legend of Mare do Well is done...sadly. Now we have something new down the pike
Wonder Woman is my favorite comic book superhero (and one of my favorite characters overall), and has been for years—though the New 52 era of DC, the only title of hers I didn’t pick up was Superman/Wonder Woman, because I dislike that ship[1]. Right now is a wonderful time to be a Wonder Woman fan, with not only her 75th anniversary just last year (which brought with it several self-contained or limited series specials), not just a merging of the New 52 character and
Warning Spoilers after the page break
After the disaster that was Batman V Superman: Dawn of catching up to Marvel Justice and the mess that was Suicide Squad, I was worried that Wonder Woman would also be terrible. But then I heard many people say positive things about the film which filled me with a bit of hope
All I can say is with out spoiling anything is, Thank you DC for restoring my faith in humanity you again.
First we have the 100 episode special tomorrow. Then we have the return of Steven Universe on Monday with an epic Steven Bomb. My body can't handle all this hype.
My body isn't ready.
